CDL Regulatory Update
(Part of PSATS' Learning at Lunch 2013 Webinar Series)
This webinar will review the following important legislative and regulatory changes made to state and federal regulations governing employees who operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) or CDL vehicles, including PennDOT’s medical card self-certification requirement of Act 1 of 2012, the difference between the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) hand-held phone ban and the state’s “No Texting” law, Act of 2011 and the existing exemption from the traditional daily and weekly CMV driving time limits for municipal employees as now provided by Title 67 Pa. Code, Chapter 231.8 (15).
Presented by James Wheeler, Manager, PSATS CDL Program, this webinar will also provide participants with a “question and answer” opportunity. Viewers will be invited to submit questions specific to CMV rules, regulations, and operations. Here is your chance to get up-to-speed on all the new changes impacting CMV employees and their employers and get all your questions answered.
