Fox Township Supervisor Mike Keller Appointed to Pa. Leadership Institute Board of Directors
Mike Keller, chairman of the Board of Supervisors for Fox Township in Elk County, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Leadership Institute.
The Institute is a nonprofit organization that provides government leadership training for municipal officials throughout Pennsylvania.
“Mike’s previous leadership position within the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors has made him a natural choice as a member of this board, which works to promote and enhance the leadership skills of Pennsylvania’s local elected officials,” PSATS Executive Director David M. Sanko says. PSATS is the initiating sponsor of the Pennsylvania Leadership Institute.
Keller served from April 2005 through April 2013 on the PSATS Executive Board. Before that, he was chairman of PSATS’ Finance Committee and a member of the association’s Audit Committee. He is currently part of PSATS’ Grassroots Lobbying Network.
Keller also serves as president of the Elk County Association of Township Officials and previously held the posts of first and second vice president.
Keller is the operations director for Elcam Inc., which has offices in Elk and Clearfield counties. He is a former chairman and current board member of the Elk County Solid Waste Authority, serves on the Municipal Authority of Fox Township, and is vice chairman of the Earned Income Tax Collection Committee.
Keller is a local government adviser for PA Wilds, a state program to encourage the growth of tourism and related businesses in northcentral Pennsylvania. He is a cast member of the Elk County Drug and Alcohol Consortium Reality Tour and also is a member of the American Powdered Metallurgy Institute International.
