Description:

Would you like the opportunity to network with nearly 4,000 attendees that are affiliated with Townships of the Second Class and attend workshops that relate to technical topics and personal development?

This special symposium is held in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors’ Annual Educational Conference & Trade Show. You will have access to the largest municipal trade show in Pennsylvania. Visit with close to 300 vendors including engineering firms and other Act. 537 related vendors. Network with other township officials and SEOs and learn from their experiences, and share your own.

Credit Hours:

This symposium has been approved by DEP for SEO continuing education credits.

To receive one continuing education credit, an SEO must attend two of the eligible workshops per day. If an SEO attends four eligible workshops on Monday and two eligible workshops on Tuesday, he or she will receive three (3) credit hours. If an SEO only attends two eligible workshops on one day, he or she will only receive one credit.

To receive the credit hours, at the end of each eligible workshop attended, you must sign the SEO Workshop Roster and also track the workshops attended on the individual sign-in sheet you will be provided at registration. The workshop moderator has the roster. At the last workshop you attend, leave your individual sign-in sheet with that workshop's moderator. Two individual sign-in sheets will be provided at registration so that you can keep one for your records.

Registration Fee:

The registration fee includes handout materials provided at any of the eligible workshops and entry to the exhibit hall. Attendance is limited to identified eligible workshops and workshops are first-come, first-serve for seating.

You MUST be a certified SEO in Pennsylvania to participate in the SEO Symposium.

  • PSATS Member* – $100
  • PSATS Non-Member – $125
  • Already registered for the PSATS Conference and want SEO Continuing Education Credits – $40

* To qualify as a PSATS member, the registrant must have paid current annual membership dues to PSATS or its affiliates (solicitors, engineers, planners, and emergency management associations) or be an associate member.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended, however walk-ins are accepted. 


Cancellations/Refunds:

Cancellations must be received in writing by faxing to 717-763-9732 or sending an email to cancellations@psats.org. Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email.

A cancellation received less than 10 business days before the session you are registered for is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds.

Those who cancel within two business days of the session date or do not attend forfeit the full registration fee which, if unpaid, will be invoiced.

The Hershey Lodge is an ADA-accessible location. Please use the “accessibility needs” line to indicate alternate format, sign language requirements, or any other needs you might have.

Note: Registrant is responsible for his or her room accommodations. Satellite parking and free shuttles to the lodge are available at the Hershey Giant center.

Shuttles available: 

Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.

Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Tuesday from 7:30 to midnight.
