Through case studies and examples, the presenter will help participants identify the situations where an internal investigation is or is not appropriate. Participants will also learn how to use outside counsel effectively alongside your municipal solicitor. The presentation will cover what the internal investigation process looks like, what you actually do during an internal investigation, how to interact and work with law enforcement, and how to handle such issues as attorney/client privilege, the
Right-to-Know Law, and “discovery” in litigation.

  • Cancellation/No-Show Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by faxing to 717-763-9732 or sending an email to cancellations@psats.org. Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds. Those who cancel within 2 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced.
